This is how the stylist Giada Curti reveals in her new Spring/Summer 2012 Collection during her fashion show which is part of the official calendar of Altaroma to be held on Tuesday 31 January at 6:00 pm in the Grand Hotel St. in Rome. The stylist intends to take us on a tour of the Capital at the stroke of midnight. This is the inspiration for her fashion show "Midnight in Rome", the title of which is inspired by the latest and highly successful film by Woody Allen set in the French capital. Similarly to the scenography of a film set, the fashion designer has met up with a group of friendly strangers who take her through the fascinating, suggestive world of La Dolce Vita, a historical and cultural period which the stylist loves dearly and which has entrapped her in its very special spell. We have 20 marvellous evening gowns in which white is the predominant colour. Refined, urbane and proud, the models show off their gowns in precious ivory-coloured ottoman, layers of embroidery-ornated flounces, chiffon, plissés and organza. Silver, iridescent boules, transparent Swarovski crystal pearls and lacework flowers stand out on the textile.
